Focus And Respect In And Out Of Karate Class

We can really see a difference in Shane since he started here. He listens better and is more focused. Sometimes he surprises us when he will do things right away instead of fighting with us. He loves his teachers and has great respect for them. When Mariah does something she really puts her all into it. She loves this. We really hope we can rearrange her schedule so she can stay with it. She loves her teachers and has great respect for them.

Martial Arts Equals Proud Parent

I was so proud of Nadiya when I introduced her to the doctor I work with. Nadiya shook her hand, smiled and said “Hi, I’m Nadiya.” A few months ago she would have hid behind my leg. Noah has gained confidence during the past few months that we would never be able to give him. When he is told he is doing something good in class he just “glows”.

Martial Arts America has top-notch instructors. You can tell they enjoy what they are doing just by watching their instructions with their students. Consistency and routine are so important for most kids and you’ll find it here. Besides, the self discipline, focus and forms found in most martial arts curriculums, students are taught special skills, manners and respect. They are encouraged to push themselves “just a little more” and not settle for mediocrity or whatever comes easy. These things are emphasized at every class, not just as a “theme” for the week or month. Also, students are embolden to use these skills at home, in the classroom and in every aspect of their lives. The instructors at Nicklaus’ Martial Arts America are great role models because they practice daily everything they expect of their students, they lead by example. It helps us, as parents, when things children learn at home are reinforced in other areas of their lives.

Gaining Self Confidence And Respect In Karate Class

Robby has always been a great kid but martial arts have helped him become an exceptionally great kid from the first class! He has become more respectful and courteous. He has shown that he can focus so much better on his school work and reading and just about everything he does. His self confidence level has improved considerably as he has learned that his mind and body can do things that he didn’t know he could do. I feel that I have become a better parent also just by listening and watching him in class. I have also learned to do things I didn’t believe I could do and I have gained a lot of respect for my children and my family. Robby is gaining more confidence in his abilities by being a martial arts instructor to us. Showing us how to do moves helps him understand how and why the routines are done a certain way. I am very impressed by the confidence and respect shown by the students and young instructors.

Martial Arts Discipline And Teaching

The martial arts program is quite impressive. I love the way the instructors talk to the children. They joke with them, have fun and yet the kids learn the importance of what they are teaching. I also like the discipline that is being taught. It is good to see the confident other kids and makes me realize that there is something really special going on here.

A Well Rounded Experience In Karate Class

I really like how the kids are learning from multiple black belt instructors for a well rounded learning experience. It’s helped my son to push himself to be focused on his goal to be a little better as well as do his best every class. The karate instructors reinforce positive character building qualities that I teach at home. It’s great for my child to get that outside of home.

One Month Of Martial Arts And Already Seeing Improvements

Martial Arts Helps Zoe Achieve Honesty and Accountability

We have seen an improvement in our 6 year old daughter within the two months of being at Martial Arts America. She has focused more in class and become an even better student. She is willing to help out at home more. She has shown a great improvement with her honesty and her accountability. She has taken responsibility when she has made a mistake or a poor choice. She has shown us that she is making good choices which makes her feel good and proud of herself.
